Christy Meyer's work has been the source of inspiration for many, as she is nationally known for her beautiful sculpted dolls, whimsical characters, and seasonal one-of-a- kind ornaments. Her work has been showcased in many galleries and her Ashton Drake ornament collection is a favorite of mine. I have them all.

A long time member of the talented group, Primitive Folk Art Tea and Talk (P.F.A.T.T) Christy is always coming up with new and exciting works of art. A talented lady to be sure!

On January 12, Christy's Winter Wonderland classes, Santa...and his twinkling eyes, and Cindy Lou Who, both are being offered for this special winter session.

Step by step Christy will walk you through her process of creating those expressive faces we all know and love. A long time thought in my head that I have finally created just for this class! Each of you will create and complete a Halloween "Advent" Calendar for you and yours to enjoy for years to come. We will travel the Mixed Media map with techniques in sculpting with paper clay, painting with acrylics, and collage to produce something MAGICAL for your home. Handy supplies to bring with you would be collage papers, co-ordinating buttons, and if you have a favorite paint brush..... I will post a picture of your project when available. I look forward to enjoying the day with you.

Hello, my name is Christy Meyers and I am CC's Whimsies. I am a self taught Folk Artist following a dream. I've been on my venture full-time/over-time for the past 7 years, and there have been a lot of Whimsies born since then.


My Whimsical Wizard of Oz ornaments are being produced by Ashton Drake Galleries, as well as other lines. (Just click on the banner above to order.) I am also featured in the Winter 2008 Art Doll Quarterly magazine.
